Advisor Bio

Mary Bihr is a videogame executive who oversaw the worldwide sales and marketing operations for LucasArts, where she helped grow the start up operation to revenues in excess of several hundred million dollars. She has a proven track record in diversifying business operations, sourcing new revenue opportunities and directing multi-national marketing activities. She led a results-oriented marketing team, which received numerous accolades over the years including, Adweek, Effie and Webby awards, and a number of PromaxBDA/MI6 and Game Marketing Awards for creativity and advertising effectiveness.
 
She is credited in over 50 games, including the market introductions of LucasArts’ early adventure games, and the first ever, award winning Star Wars and Indiana Jones game franchises. In 2004, the Hollywood Reporter named her one of the top 10 most influential women in the video games business, and in 2006 she was honored as one of the game industry’s 100 most influential women by Edge Magazine.
 
Prior to her tenure at LucasArts, Mary spent nearly a decade in advertising with several multi-national agencies, including D’Arcy, Masius, Benton and Bowles and Grey Advertising. Her early clients were pioneers of Silicon Valley who helped shape technologies for the 21st century. 


 
Mary conducted her undergraduate/graduate studies at U.C. Berkeley where she graduated cum laude. She is the recipient of U.C. Berkeley’s Eisner Award for the highest achievement in creativity, and the Marin County Art Council’s Business Volunteer for the Arts Award.
